These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of Meal Express, a community-focused homemade-food ordering and delivery platform operating within selected areas of Pakistan. By using Meal Express, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Meal Express provides
Meal Express connects customers with approved local homemakers offering prepared food and coordinates delivery through internally assigned riders. Availability, listed meals, pricing, and delivery coverage may vary.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Users must provide accurate registration information and protect their accounts. Customers may register to order; homemakers must be approved by an administrator before selling; rider access is assigned and managed by the administration. We may restrict accounts associated with fraud, misuse, or policy violations.
3. Food listings and orders
Homemakers are responsible for providing accurate menu descriptions, ingredients, prices, availability, and relevant allergy information. Orders are subject to homemaker acceptance, availability, and service capacity. Meal Express may cancel an order if it cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
4. Food safety and allergies
Homemakers are expected to maintain appropriate food hygiene and comply with applicable food safety requirements. Customers should notify the homemaker or support team about allergies and dietary concerns before ordering. Food preparation environments may contain common allergens; we cannot guarantee an allergen-free meal.
5. Pricing and payments
Orders are paid by cash on delivery. Any meal prices, service charges, or delivery fees should be displayed or communicated before the order is confirmed. Applicable fees and charges may change prospectively. No in-app card payment is offered under the current model.
6. Delivery
Meal Express coordinates delivery through riders assigned by its administration. Customers must provide a deliverable address and be reasonably available to receive orders. Estimated delivery times are not guarantees and may be affected by traffic, weather, food-preparation time, and service conditions.
7. Cancellation, complaints, and refunds
Customers should contact Meal Express support as soon as possible to request a cancellation or report an incorrect, missing, damaged, or unsafe order. Resolution depends on the order's status, the circumstances, and applicable law. Cash refunds, replacements, or other remedies may be offered where appropriate. Any mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. Acceptable use
Users must not place fraudulent orders, harass others, misuse personal information, interfere with the platform, or upload unlawful, misleading, or infringing materials. Homemakers and riders must follow relevant operational instructions and applicable law.
9. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Location and contact details are used for ordering and delivery as needed.
10. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, adjust coverage areas, or update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the published terms with an updated effective date.
11. Liability and applicable law
Meal Express aims to provide reliable coordination of homemade-food orders and delivery. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. These Terms are governed by applicable laws of Pakistan, subject to mandatory rights and jurisdictional rules.
